Belmont Shooting Complex

The Complex is situated approximately 15 kilometres south-east of the Brisbane CBD, on Old Cleveland Road just past the Gateway Motorway.  Small bore and Air Rifle shooting is conducted at the Jim Smith Shooting Complex.  

Over the years Belmont has seen many changes but none as big as the reconstruction of the Jim Smith Range and the surrounding buildings.  At a cost of over One Million dollars, Belmont now boasts to have a world class 60 Bay indoor 10 metre Air Rifle/Pistol Range and an outdoor 60 Bay 50 metre Rifle/Pistol Range.

Belmont is the head quarters for Small Bore and Air Rifle Shooting within the State.  The Complex is also the Brisbane base for four local Small Bore Rifle Clubs.  These Clubs West End, Commercial and Paramount meet week nights usually starting at about 7:30pm with Brisbane meeting Saturday mornings at 8:30am.

Brisbane based Clubs run a "Come and Try" shoot on selected week ends.  To find out all the details about the "Come and Try" please check out the following link - Come and try information.  Before coming out please make contact with the club running the day to ensure they will be conducting the come and try on the day you will be along.
